Mission Statement In our desire to honor and obey God, Our goal is to develop a community of worship by meeting real needs, sharing Christ love, connecting people to the body, and teaching them to love and obey God. A Special InvitationMaple View is a community fellowship where worshiping God and the teaching of His Word is or primary focus. We would love to have you join us in the journey as we, together, seek God to know Him personally. Our church has all types of cultures and backgrounds that come together to worship God and fellowship. Our heart's desire is to know where God is working and to always be obedient as He reveals to us His will. Our desire is also to love God and to love others. Acts 2: 42-47 give us a beautiful picture of a healthy, vibrant church. They met regularly to receive the teaching of God's Word. They were praising God for the miraculous things He was doing and each day they met together to fellowship and care for one another. Our Purpose is to provide organization of refreshments or food at church events. We workin the kitchen during carry-in dinners and most church sponsored activities. We maintain kitchen staples and supplies and keep cupboards and appliances clean and organized. We provide a meal for funerals or for family members at calling hours. We arrange for seating and clean up in the fellowship hall or elsewhere during these events. We spend a lot of time with wet hands and tired feet. But the joy of serving our congregation and their families, in both joy and sorrow or plenty and want, gives our committee members and all our willing volunteers blessings beyond measure. In this way we serve our Lord and our church family at Maple View. |
