Similar to last year’s 30 Hour Famine – SR and JR high youth will be fasting, praying and participating in community outreach programs to help raise money for local and overseas missions.

This is an overnight event . Adult helpers and drivers are needed to shuttle youth back and forth to various projects and activities.

Youth are encouraged to raise money independently and are rewarded for achieving certain fundraising goals.

This year we hope to raise over $3000. The money will be distributed as follows:

1/3 will go directly to the Warren Family Mission

1/3 to help support teacher/missionary Angie Collens in Mozambique

1/3 to help sustain missionary support personnel, Lukus and Bethany Hess

Last year 19 youth actively attended and each one was surprised by what they had accomplished and how easy it became to give up food and focus on God and others.

CEDARMANIA – March 12th & 13th

This is an all night overnighter for youth in 6th – 9th grades. The cost is $25. This

event includes dinner, breakfast and all activities at Cedarville University. We’ll leave Friday March 12th at 4 pm and return Saturday March 13th by 11 am.

Special permission slips must be completed and are posted on the youth bulletin board in the youth center. We must have your registration by Feb 28th. We’ll

need at least six participating youth to make this work.

Mission Luncheon  - Sunday March 14th

This will be our third fundraiser to support this Summers mission trips. Youth are encouraged to bring a salad or soup. The dinner will be held immediately following the worship service.

Misc. Notes:

  • The SR High will meet after the conclusion of the mission dinner on the 14th,

        instead of in the evening.

  • Movie Nights will be held on the 14th and 17th of the month. This will be the

last in our winter series. Attending youth will vote as to which movie will be

       shown.
